Platform Access Agreement

This Version 2.0 agreement replaces the previous platform usage and licensing agreement. Continued access to the Medius Earth platform requires acceptance of this version. This page is a plain-language summary; the detailed legal wording in Parts A, B, and C of the complete agreement controls if anything differs.

What this agreement covers

The Platform Access Agreement applies to internal and external authorized users of the Medius Earth digital MRV and carbon project management platform. It combines a technology license, privacy policy, and platform terms of use. Separate scope or commercial documents continue to govern project deliverables, timelines, pricing, and payment terms.

The license, in brief

  • You receive limited, role-based, revocable access for the purpose for which access was granted.
  • Medius Earth retains ownership of the platform, software, data structures, methodologies, and AI models.
  • You may not copy, reverse-engineer, resell, sublicense, share credentials, or build a competing product from the platform.

Privacy and your data

  • You or your organization retain ownership of data submitted to the platform.
  • Data is processed to operate projects, generate reports, support verification and due diligence, maintain audit records, and meet legal or registry obligations.
  • Personal data is not sold. It is shared only with legitimate project parties, service providers, registries, auditors, funders, or authorities as described in Part B.
  • Anonymized, aggregated data may be used to improve the platform and its AI models.

Responsible platform use

  • Keep credentials secure and provide accurate, complete, current information.
  • Do not upload unlawful or misleading content, seek unauthorized access, or interfere with platform security.
  • AI-generated outputs are decision-support tools and require qualified human review before regulatory, verification, financing, or other consequential use.
  • Access may be suspended or terminated for breach, fraud, non-payment where applicable, or legal and security reasons.

What electronic acceptance means

By selecting I accept in the portal, you confirm that you have authority to accept for yourself or your organization, had the opportunity to read the complete agreement, and agree to be bound by Parts A, B, and C. The portal records the account identifier, timestamp, IP address, and available location evidence as the electronic acceptance record.
